When discussing Obama, she says:

1. Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake through the heart of Hillary's presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do.

2. Obama killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - no more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for women wanting rides home.

3. Obama is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes! Dennis Moore had never lost a race. Evan Bayh had never lost a race. Byron Dorgan had never lost a race. Harry Reid - soon to be GONE, and Nancy Pelosi, will lose her position of leader of the house! These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed. By the end of 2010, dozens more will be gone. Just think, in December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 Senate seats and 52 House seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. However, in just one year, Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the House - if not the Senate - back to the Republicans.

4. Obama has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Sadly, every generation seems to need to re-learn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. Obama is bringing home the lesson very well: Liberals tax, borrow and spend. Liberals won't bring themselves to protect America. Liberals want to take over the economy. Liberals think they know what is best for everyone. Liberals are not happy until they are running YOUR life.

5. Obama has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan. In one year, he has rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of freedom loving Americans. Name one other time when you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America!

6. Obama, with his "amazing leadership," has sparked the greatest period of sales of firearms and ammunition this country has seen. Law abiding citizens have rallied and have provided a "stimulus" to the sporting goods field while other industries have failed, faded, or moved off-shore.

7. In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I have been in my life. Not afraid of the economy, but afraid of the direction our country was going. I thought,Americans have forgotten what this country is all about. My neighbors and friends, even strangers, have proved to me that my lack of confidence in the greatness and wisdom of the American people has been flat wrong.

8. When the American people wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them! Barack Obama has served to wake up these great Americans! Again, I want to say: "Thank you, Barack Obama you who refuse to admit that you are a muslim!" After all, this is exactly the kind of hope and change we desperately needed!!

Sending my Daughter Off to War.

The last few days have been some of the hardest in my life as I spent the last 48 plus hours with my daughter before she left on deployment. I am so very very proud of her and of Company C. They are a very special company. I am going through such a roller coaster of feelings. I am close to a few of the soldiers in her Company as well. Her sisters and I hugged and held her as much as we could before we had to let her go onto the bus that will take her and the rest to their destination. God Bless them for their duties of keeping us safe and for the incredible job they have ahead of them that will help so many Soldiers in Afghanistan. I miss you my beautiful girl!

Local Soldiers Deploy to Afghanistan.

Sixty five men and with with the National Guard based out of the Wyoming Armory are preparing to deploy to Afghanistan.

WYOMING - The National Guard Armory in Wyoming held a deployment ceremony Thursday afternoon for sixty five soldiers who are heading to fight the war in Afghanistan.

The men and women are part of a communication network, that will help soldiers communicate on the front lines.

The soldiers are departing this week for two months of training before heading to the war torn county.

There's a wide variety of soldiers deploying from a number of different backgrounds. They include a soldier who's leaving his pregnant wife behind, a nineteen year old medic who just learned she was deploying two weeks ago, and a young woman who's heading out on her first deployment.

We'll have a live report tonight on Fox 17 News at 6 and 10.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan was charged with 13 counts of murder for the Fort Hood massacre, but 14 persons were killed. Army Pvt. Francheska Velez, a 21-year-old Chicago native, was six weeks pregnant when she was gunned down. Her unborn child is the 14th victim, but the death so far has been ignored by our government.

Wounded Warrior Projects (WWP) top priority is getting desperately needed legislation passed by Congress to provide critical support to family caregivers of severely wounded warriors including those with catastrophic injuries such as severe Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Spinal Cord Injury, and others.

Over the past 4 years, WWP has listened to the needs and concerns directly from family caregivers of critically injured service members from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Respite care, mental health counseling, technical assistance, health care coverage and a modest stipend, can make the difference between a warrior being able to receive the care and services they need in their own homes and communities rather than in institutional or nursing home settings.

Listen to the commander on the ground in Afghanistan—General Stanley A. McChrystal—and provide him with the troops he says he needs to win the war in Afghanistan.

By accepting the troop recommendations of General McChrystal—and his boss General David Petraeus—we have a chance to turn the war in Afghanistan around. This is a moment in history we must not miss.

Like General Petraeus in Iraq, General McChrystal is an outside-the-box thinker who thrives in the ambiguity of asymmetrical battlefields. Like General Petraeus in Iraq, General McChrystal has the right strategy—a comprehensive counterinsurgency plan.

Eight years later, the consensus on the war in Afghanistan is fractured; however we believe—as do you—that the need for victory has not changed.

During this time of domestic uncertainty and global threats, winning the war will require steadfast Presidential leadership; a Commander-in-Chief who is unwilling to be swayed by lagging poll numbers or party leaders who want to block troop increases.

Now is the time for your leadership. If you listen to commanders on the ground, give them what they need, and stand behind our warriors in Afghanistan—we will stand with you. If you don't, and would rather fight the "war of necessity" with one hand tied behind our back, then we will loudly object.

Many—in fact a majority—said the war in Iraq was "unwinnable," yet our troops persevered and turned the tide. Despite the drumbeat of detractors—on both sides of the aisle—this is another war we can win. But we must act now.

We owe it to the Marines and Soldiers slogging it out with insurgents every day to get this right. If we do, they'll fight, they'll persevere, and they'll win. If we don't, we are setting them up for failure. No less than America's greatness—and the legacy of America's finest warriors—is at stake.

When I saw the news yesterday about Bank of Amerika I was so disgusted and appalled by their managers disrespect for a young Marine who fought and died for this Country! What Country did that woman think she lived in to say that our Flag is offensive and saying it is the Corporations rules not to allow the American Flag?! Telling the person putting them along the sides of the street to honor a brave young Marine. Then telling her if she wants the flags she will have to go inside to get them!

You have no idea how pissed off this has made me! I am waiting to see if Obama will say anything about it. But, I am not going to holding my breath. I mean he responds to things like Dr Tiller the Baby Killer and Kayne West. Not a Pro-lifer who was murdered. Well, he said maybe 6 to 10 words, 3 or 4 days later. He pretends he knows nothing about ACORN getting Federal funding and sweeps it under the rug.

Why would he condemn this act. I mean it is only the American flag and a Young Brave Marine who died for what is now HIS war. What is happening to our Country?! I don't recognize it anymore! What happened to the respect we were taught for OUR Country when we were in school? Kids don't say the Pledge of Allegiance anymore. They aren't taught America the Beautiful, God Bless America... Obama is more concerned with passing Obamacare (Socialized Medicine) Kenye West, David Letterman, letting Muslims pray on the White House lawn, spending our Money like it is his..... etc etc etc.... Than he is with winning the war in Afghanistan and keeping our Troops safe! His main job as President of the Untied States is the defense of our Country NOT all of this other crap! Not changing our Constitution! Obama DO your Job!!!! Oh and while your at it... Show us the Birth Certificate and the College Records and the Medical Records and everything else you have paid $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to seal and keep hidden from the people that YOU work for!!

Anyway, I am asking everyone who loves this Great Country and respects and loves our Troops to PLEASE cancel all and any accounts that you have at Bank of Amerika. ABC News reports that two million Americans flooded D.C. in what people in the crowd were calling “a conservative Woodstock” Like the liberal Woodstock of the ’60s, thousands were rumored stranded on freeways. Some walked in to DC, ditching their cars and busses. I walked with a 5 deep 6 block long column of protesters from Pennsylvania Avenue who had walked miles from where they had to leave their busses. Networks including Fox News continued through the time I’m writing this at 8 p.m. local Eastern time reporting that “tens of thousands” showed up. Whasup with that? When will we get some reliable reporting out of the corporate media types?

Hello, folks. Please read the petition, sign it if you agree, and pass along this link or the link to the petition itself to friends, family and co-workers.

Those who visit America's Right on a regular basis know that we've never really latched on to one media or political personality, but that I do often lament the inability to get the right message out to the American public as best possible. Glenn Beck has been doing incredible work, and I firmly believe that his platform may be the best chance, or at least the first step, in waking up slumbering Americans.

Or, at least, I hope so. Obviously, Fox News can do what it wants to do, and the same goes for Mr. Beck. Furthermore, there are contractual issues involved, as well as other extrinsic factors. I know, for instance, that Glenn enjoys doing live television, and that a live broadcast at 10:00 p.m. may not be right for a man who has a loving wife and kids at home, not to mention a radio show at 9:00 a.m. as well. Still, whatever may happen, I only thought it might help the decision-making process if they knew how the American people felt. So, while I've never expressly asked anyone to disseminate the writings here at America's Right before, I am asking you now -- please get this out to the American people.

I am not a television executive, and do not pretend to be. I know nothing of ratings, demographics or advertising revenue, and do not purport to. I am, however, a normal, everyday, self-reliant, responsible concerned American who has a favor to ask of you.

For the time being, and for the good of the nation, please replace Greta van Susteren's "On the Record" with Glenn Beck's eponymous program.

This request does not arise from animosity toward Greta. She does a great job at Fox News. She has a phenomenal legal mind, and nobody digs deeper into the emotional stories of the day than she does. When it comes to the nitty-gritty details of political issues, however, Glenn Beck and his staff are without compare when it comes to research and the ability to convey core principles and arguments to everyday people.

No example is finer than that of now former "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones. While every other news and commentary program on every network which chose to even provide coverage was merely reacting to the news of an avowed communist and obvious radical within earshot of the President of the United States, Glenn Beck was driving the news. He did the research. He presented the arguments in an easy-to-follow manner, and used Jones' own inflammatory rhetoric to rid our executive branch of a contraconstitutional official in an unconstitutional position.

The tremendous work Glenn Beck is doing absolutely needs to be seen and be heard, and though his ratings at 5:oo p.m. Eastern/2:00 p.m. Pacific are unbelievable, people still nonetheless are forced to go out of their way to see him. Right now, the people he is reaching are generally the choir. Folks like me, we understand it. We see the unfortunate trend toward statism in America. And while there is value in reinforcing passion and buttressing rational arguments by preaching to the choir, the real gains--in terms of what's good for the nation--would come if Beck were more easily reached.

Obviously, there are likely contractual issues to be overcome; if there weren't, Beck would likely already be in the 10:00 p.m. spot. Greta van Susteren has rightfully been the darling of cable news in the heyday of the Scott Peterson case and beyond -- now, though, the time has come to disseminate the fundamental conservative and libertarian message that could save this nation, and because conservatives have long been deficient in terms of message dissemination, we need a voice that is as accessible as it is strong.

I miss the America of eight years ago next week. Amid the fear, the uncertainty and the grief, the latter still burning within from fresh wounds and still-smoldering mountains of twisted steel, ash, and remains in Lower Manhattan, there was unity. There was purpose. There was hope that perhaps, just perhaps, the America that would emerge from disaster and tragedy would be stronger and more secure, that it would be the strength inherent in us all rather than blind faith in the State's omnipotence that would carry us through.

I remember weeping as I watched sixty thousand flag-waving New Yorkers stand together with pride as former President George W. Bush emerged onto the field at Yankee Stadium during the World Series to give a thumbs-up bursting with confidence in our nation before throwing a perfect strike from the pitcher's mound. Those people stood not because George W. Bush was George W. Bush, or because he was a Republican, or for any other reason than because they all stood together as Americans, defiant, determined that no force from without or within would undermine or endanger our liberty and freedom.

As an American watching mournfully as our nation spirals downward toward socialism, statism or something else our founders imagined but tried desperately to prevent, I miss that America and hope to see it again. I want to see the solidarity again. I want to see the flags. I want so desperately to witness that great, unbending sense of purpose, the idea that the health, welfare, safety, security and prosperity of our great nation in the face of evil triumphed over matters of politics and ideology.

In Glenn Beck, I see someone who feels the same way, someone who understands what so many great men and women have fought for since we declared our independence from Great Britain 233 years ago, when our founders set forth a system of government specifically and carefully designed to countermand human nature when it came to the trappings of power.

Those imperfect men established this nation knowing less of what they wanted America to be than what they wanted Her to never, ever become. And yet, despite the hard and clear lessons of history on our own shores and across the world, we are forced to stand idly by and watch as we become more and more like what our founders left, as we purposefully sprint in the direction of everything our founders did not want for this great experiment in liberty and freedom.

After 233 short years, we stand to willingly destroy the very notion of American exceptionalism, we stand to willingly part with the independence and freedom provided by the blood and sweat and sacrifice of so many, all in the name of the very same brand of governmental power grab against which our founders launched their improbable effort in the first place. In only a matter of several generations, in the blink of an eye relative to human history, we've changed from a nation led by people who would rather die than be denied liberty, who lament having had but only one life to give for their country and the cause of freedom, to a shrinking violet ruled by a class of people far more interested in the content of their wallets and the labels on their office doors and business cards than of the state of our union.

The road by which we've arrived at this destination is easy enough to discern -- the question is how to turn this nation around. My guess is that it will depend upon equal amounts fortitude and Providence. Understanding the disease may be an important first step, but making the essential sacrifices and putting forth the necessary efforts to defeat it takes a special kind of person.

It's no coincidence that Glenn Beck felt compelled to write his own version of Common Sense, inspired by Thomas Paine's original. As a cold winter approached in late 1776, as the rag-tag American army licked its wounds following a set of horrible losses along the Hudson, a young Thomas Paine wrote in The Crisis No. 1 that "[t]yranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph . . . Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as freedom should not be highly rated."

The America I saw in late September and October of 2001 knew the glory of freedom. That America knew that our nation was different than the others, greater than the others, and was willing to do everything necessary to preserve that greatness. Together, we can return to that America. We just need a catalyst. Right now, because of his selflessness, his determination, and his courage, Glenn Beck may be just that.

For that reason, I join the concerned Americans below in imploring you to do everything in your power to ensure that his message, that our founders' message, can be heard by those who need guidance most. For the time being, and for the good of our nation, please place Greta van Susteren in Glenn Beck's spot at 5:00 p.m. Eastern and Glenn Beck in hers at 10:00 p.m., where he can be heard by those who desperately need to hear him.

The answer is NO, Mr. President, and we the people are not afraid to say NO to you and this Congress. You and the Congress have NO constitutional authority to take over the healthcare industry. You have NO legal authority to eliminate our right to choose the best healthcare options for our families. The attempts to exploit the incorrect data regarding the uninsured in America is shameless propaganda. We can read and we can count and we have looked at those numbers very, very carefully. There are not 47 million uninsured people who are victims in this country. Hospitals and doctors are working together to lower costs. Business co-ops are helping solve this problem everyday. Our healthcare system is better today than it was in 1994 -- the last time big government advocates tried to wipe out our doctors and the private healthcare industry.

We the people say NO to you and the Congress and your plan to cram a trillion dollar bureaucratic nightmare down all our throats. And we send you and the Congress this warning: Any member who votes for this measure, especially at the irresponsible, unethical, breakneck pace you are suggesting, had best start packing their bags the day after the vote. Why is President Barack Obama in such a hurry to get his socialized medicine bill passed?
Because he and his cunning circle realize some basic truths:
The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.
They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.
They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a "community organizer," Illinois state legislator, and Senator.
The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record as a student and teacher, his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.
Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth. Barack Obama is a super likeable super leftist, not a fan of this country, way, way too cozy with the terrorist leaders in the Middle East, way beyond naïveté, all the way into active destruction of our interests and our allies and our future.
The American people have already awakened to the truth that the stimulus bill -- a great idea in theory -- was really an immense bribe to Democrat interest groups, and in no way an effort to help all Americans.
Now, Americans are waking up to the truth that ObamaCare basically means that every time you are sick or injured, you will have a clerk from the Department of Motor Vehicles telling your doctor what he can and cannot do.
The American people already know that Mr. Obama's plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be -- a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away.
These are perilous times. Mrs. Hillary Clinton, our Secretary of State, has given Iran the go-ahead to have nuclear weapons, an unqualified betrayal of the nation. Now, we face a devastating loss of freedom at home in health care. It will be joined by controls on our lives to "protect us" from global warming, itself largely a fraud if believed to be caused by man.
Mr. Obama knows Americans are getting wise and will stop him if he delays at all in taking away our freedoms.
There is his urgency and our opportunity. Once freedom is lost, America is lost. Wake up, beloved America.

New Study Finds 66 Percent Increased Breast Cancer Risk After Abortion

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new study done on women in Turkey who had abortions finds a 66 percent increased risk of contracting breast cancer as a result. The study is the latest to confirm that abortions cause significant adverse medical risks for women who have them, in addition to killing unborn children.

The results also found that, while induced abrotion causes increased breast cancer risks for women, having a spontaneuous abortion, or miscarriage, does not.

Dr. Vahit Ozmen and his colleagues at the Istanbul Medical Faculty at Istanbul University and Magee-Women's hospital in Pittsburgh conducted the new retrospective study.

They published their findings in the April 2009 issue of the World Journal of Surgical Oncology and examined women who, between January 2000 and December 2006, were admitted to clinics of Istanbul Medical Faculty for examination.

The researchers said that their findings showed abortion was "significantly associated with increased breast cancer risk."

"Breast cancer risk was found to be increased in women with ... induced abortion (95% confidence interval)" and an age above 35 years-old at the time of a first live birth. "However, decreased breast cancer risk was associated with ... presence of spontaneous abortion."

"Our study revealed that spontaneous abortion was associated with the decreased risk of breast cancer in univariate analysis whereas induced abortion was associated with increased breast cancer risk in both univariate and multivariable analyses," they wrote.

Contrary to the claims of groups like Planned Parenthood and Susan G. Komen for the Cure that say there is no such-abortion breast cancer link, the physicians involved in the study assert otherwise.

Other studies "found a positive association between induced abortion and breast cancer risk in women younger than 50. Therefore, similar to our findings, the majority of the studies reported that induced abortion was associated with increased breast cancer risk."

Joel Brind, Ph.D., the head of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute in the United States and a professor of endocrinology at Baruch College in New York, says he is not surprised by the results.

"I guess they didn't get the 'memo' from the U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI), which declared back in 2003 that the non-existence of the abortion-breast cancer link had been 'established,'" he told LifeNews.com.

Brind also said that the breast cancer risk the doctors found in Turkey is likely higher than they reported. He said Ozmen's team most likely underestimated the breast cancer risk associated with abortion because of a flaw known as "selection bias."

Selection bias is a flaw in the study because only hospital or clinic patients were selected as study subjects, and they were therefore not representative of the general population.

According to Brind's hypothesis, a disproportionate number of "modern" women were likely represented among the controls -- a group more likely to have abortions and visit the hospital often for minor complaints.

By contrast, a disproportionate number of "traditional" women were represented among the patients; women less likely to abortions and visit the hospital.

"To their credit, Dr. Ozmen et al. did acknowledge the likelihood of selection bias in their study, although they were not specific in attributing any effects on their results to it," he said.

Karen Malec, president of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer, also commented on the study and said American medical groups need to take notice of the results.

"Although the NCI, the nation's largest funder of cancer-research, and others have worked feverishly to suppress the ABC link by publishing fraudulent research and even leaning on scientists whose studies have shown risk increases among women who have abortions, honest research occasionally escapes the NCI's purview," she said.

In the next two days, more Black people will die in America than during the 100 years of lynching recorded after 1865.

Quietly claiming almost 1500 Black lives every day, a vicious killer is working systematically through our families and communities. Most of us are vaguely aware of its existence, yet it has claimed enough lives to now be the number one cause of death among Black people. Do you know what this killer is?

You might think of AIDS. Or, even cancer and heart disease. Drugs and violence may even come to mind as possibilities. But, the number one killer of African Americans today is abortion, the silent killer that we don’t talk about, publicly or in private.

We do know about it though, because the statistics are almost overwhelming as Black women, in disproportionate numbers, are selecting this option to resolve their issues with unwanted pregnancies.

Statistics released in November 2005 by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveal over 13 million Black babies have been killed through the process of abortion since 1973, that is 1/3 of our present population, and more than double the number killed during the Jewish holocaust of the 20th century.

Of the estimated 4000 abortions performed in the U.S. daily, Black women receive nearly 1500 of the total, about 37%.

This number is highly disproportionate when you consider Black women only comprise about 12% of the population. These figures may come as a shock to you, but it is a reality in Black America today.

Data collected from Planned Parenthood, the number one abortion provider in the nation, through its affiliate the Alan Guttmacher Institute (AGI), provides greater insight to this situation.

From AGI, we learn that most Black women having abortions today are over 25 years of age (49 percent) and over three-fourths of the women are unmarried. Almost half of all these pregnancies are unplanned, half of which are terminated by abortion, and this number continues to grow.

Reasons most often given by women seeking abortion are the desire to postpone childbearing, lack of financial resources, or relationship issues with partner.

Other reasons noted include too young, fear of disruption in education or career, or do not want the child.

In choosing to abort the child, women expose themselves to issues much greater than the reasons given for the abortion.

Much attention today is being given to the physical and psychological consequences brought to bear upon the woman who chooses to terminate her pregnancy by abortion.

In a study conducted in 1994 on post-abortion Black women, responses to a questionnaire indicated 81percent of the women experienced one or more psychological complaints, ranging from feelings of guilt, to regret and often times deep depression.

Other complaints revealed feelings of low self-esteem, anger, despair and even suicidal tendencies. Only one percent said they would recommend abortion to others.

Breast Cancer link

Much of the health concern today for women who have had an abortion centers on the increased risk of developing breast cancer.

Although no one is saying abortion causes breast cancer, the statistics reflect a trend that cannot be ignored.

Since the legalization of abortion in 1973 (and the subsequent increase in abortions), the incidence of breast cancer in women has increased by more than 40 percent, and according to recent data released by the American Cancer Society, this cancer now ranks as a leading cause of death in African American women.

Similarly, information obtained from the Johns Hopkins Breast Center medical research website (February 2003), states that African American women under age 35 are disproportionately affected by breast cancer. This echoes the findings in a study from 10 years prior by Howard University, which also found African American women at increased odds for the disease if they had a history of induced abortions.

Could there be a connection between the incidence of abortion and the development of this disease?

Though many will argue the validity of this claim, medical / research groups such as the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, The Breast Cancer Prevention Institute, the National Physicians Center for Family Resources and others substantiate the claim as medically sound and documented by in-depth research results.

When abortion on demand was legalized in 1973, the general opinion was that abortion would serve as a harmless and effective means for a woman to control her rights to reproduction, and women have been encouraged to use this alternative when faced with the challenges of an unwanted pregnancy.

New information obtained from the post-abortive studies tell us, to the contrary, that this is in fact a harmful and extremely costly alternative when we consider the psychological and physical risks involved with receiving an induced abortion. As these studies reveal, abortion is not only a matter of life or death for the unborn child, but quite possibly also for the mother. And the numbers, as they continue to multiply ever so quietly, sounds the alarm of a holocaust in Black America.

And we’re not talking about it?

I didn’t see my father for many years after he and my mother separated and ultimately divorced. I would learn that he was a womanizer, an incestuous rapist, an alcoholic, a drug addict, a gangster, a pimp-wannabe, a thief, a convict, a child molester, and a murderer.
I was fortunate not to learn most of what my father did until much later in life. However, when I did learn of my father’s past, I couldn’t help but question what part of him might lurk within me. With all this baggage and plethora of built-in excuses, I am amazed that I did not become a Democrat.

I wanted to know what made my dad the way he was. Unfortunately, since I didn’t grow up knowing my father’s family, I didn’t have much history. My paternal grandfather came once to visit my brother and me on the ranch where we were raised. I was around nine years-old at the time; that was the one and only time I ever saw and spoke with him in person.

I learned that my paternal grandfather was an alcoholic, who would arrive home most nights in a drunken stupor. Bloody from the beatings of street predators of Indianapolis, my grandfather lost both his money and a piece of his soul. Unknown to them, they were slowly stealing the innocence of the two young boys who waited at home for the man who was supposed to be their idol, their protector, their provider, their father. Seeing their daddy beaten and bloodied would breed a rage in these two boys that would later be unleashed on the world. They were two boiling cauldrons, destined to bubble over and vomit their murky contents into society.
My father would do a stint in prison for armed robbery, as did my uncle. Many of my male cousins on my father’s side are convicts, who lived very similar lives. Most of their crimes involved drugs, and in some cases more serious offenses. Chances are, had I not been raised by my maternal grandparents, I would have had a similar fate. In fact, I would bet on it.
Being a Jackson in Indianapolis or Bloomington Indiana essentially put a target on your back; the cops were extra vigilant when it came to dealing with the Jacksons. Many in law enforcement had sent Jackson family men scurrying from Indiana to less prosecutorial climes.
Then there were the street thugs with unresolved street grudges. One of which grew into an actual plan to kill one of my uncles. To this day, he is unaware of just how close to death he actually came. I learned the story from a cousin.
Many of the female cousins on my father’s side who had significant interaction with my father are in relationships with men very similar to him, or unable to maintain healthy relationships with decent men. Relationships are tough. But my father has definitely impacted the women in our family negatively. On the bright side, a few of my female cousins actually did discover exactly what type of man they didn’t want, as a result of being around my father. That’s a costly way to look for the “good” in a situation. But I have learned that where my father is concerned, I take whatever good I can find.
As for relationships, my brother has been with the same woman since he was nineteen. Unfortunately my track record is a bit bumpier. I’ve been married twice, with a couple of “common law” situations as well. But my interaction with women is nothing like that of my father. In fact, I grew up with a healthy respect for women, because of my grandmother.
How much of me I credit to my dad I am not quite sure; his blood does course through my veins. It makes me wonder sometimes—actually a lot of the time. Seeing or hearing about him with a different woman during each visit or phone conversation most likely impacted me, though it doesn’t seem to have affected my brother in the same way.
I have never used drugs, and am a social drinker at best. I have been drunk only twice in my life. I womanized during a period of my life, and even shoplifted a couple of times as a teenager, but eventually overcame both of those impulses as I matured. I have wanted to kill a few people, but only figuratively.
When you don’t know your history, you question: What part is nature; what part nurture?

Army Ranger gets 25 Years for Killing Al-Qaeda Operative

In May 2008, a known member of an Al QAEDA cell, Ali Mansur, was suspected of having organized an attack on the young Army Ranger's platoon, which killed two U.S. soldiers and injured two more under Lt. Behenna's command. For some unfathomable reason, Army intelligence ordered that Mansur be released and ordered Lt. Behenna, who was then 24, to escort the terrorist to his home.

On the way, Behenna questioned Mansur in an effort to learn additional information about other members of the terrorist cell, as well as who was financing it. During the interrogation, Mansur attacked Lt. Behenna, who killed the terrorist in self-defense.

The government cast Mansur as the "victim" and prosecuted Lt. Behenna for premeditated murder!

The following timeline was taken, in part, from the website that has been established in support of Lt. Behenna -- Defendmichael.com -- and confirmed by his mother, Vicki.

On February 23, 2009, Behenna went on trial. During the trial:

The government argued that Behenna executed Mansur while he was sitting on a rock, while Behenna said that he shot in self defense after Mansur stood up and tried to reach for the Lieutenant's gun during the interrogation.

A government expert, an Iraqi doctor who performed the autopsy, said that the bullets had a horizontal trajectory, suggesting a direct confrontation and not a scenario in which a defenseless Mansur sat helplessly on a rock while a standing Behenna shot him at a downward angle. In fact, both government and defense experts agreed on the trajectory of the bullets that killed Mansur.

In short order, the prosecution decided not to call to the stand another government expert, Dr. Herbert MacDonnell, but instead sent him home. But not before Dr. MacDonell told Behenna's defense attorney that he would have been a good witness for the defense.

While Dr. MacDonnell was picking up his coat in the prosecution room on his way out of the courthouse, he told the three prosecutors: "The explanation that Lt Behenna just testified to was the exact same scenario I told you yesterday. Lt Behenna is telling the truth."

Referring to Dr. MacDonnell's statement that he would have been a good witness, the defense counsel, Jack Zimmermann, asked the prosecutors if they had any exculpatory evidence that should be provided to the defense. (This is evidence favorable to the defendant in a criminal trial, which clears or tends to clear the defendant of guilt.) But the prosecutors denied having any such evidence despite having been told by their own expert witness that Lt Behenna's explanation was the only logical explanation of the events that had transpired.

Because this evidence was withheld, the prosecutors were able to argue that Lt. Behenna executed Ali Mansur while the "victim" was seated on a rock -- in spite of the testimony of forensic experts, including Dr. MacDonnell, who agreed that Mansur was standing with his arms outstretched when he was shot.

On February 27, 2009, Lt. Behenna was convicted of unpremeditated murder and assault by a military panel of seven officers -- none of whom were combat arms.

Following the trial, Dr. MacDonnell contacted the prosecutors again, asking that the information he provided them be given to the defense. After Dr. MacDonnell's e-mail was provided to the defense counsel, Mr. Zimmermann moved for a mistrial.

Judge Theodore E. Dixon promptly ordered both sides in the case to file briefs relating to a possible mistrial, and, after reading the briefs, set a date for an additional hearing and ordered additional briefs, including one from the defense requesting a new trial.

But on March 20, Judge Dixon denied the defense motions to declare a mistrial and to order a new trial and sentenced Lt. Behenna to serve 25 years in Leavenworth penitentiary.

Lt. Behenna's attorneys are appealing the verdict. It is Vicki Behenna's understanding that the General of the 101st Airborne will review Michael's case in the next several weeks, in which case he can set aside the findings of guilt, order a new trial, or reduce Michael's sentence. After the General's decision, Michael's case will be docketed in the appellate court, a process that can take from one-to-three years for the appeal to be heard.

The Behennas and their many supporters have mobilized to help Michael and they urge everyone to contact his or her elected official to make sure that justice is done. And because the government has limitless resources but they don't, they've established a Legal Defense Fund to help their efforts.

First it was Slavery and the KKK and then Planned Parenthood and still Planned Parenthood plays a huge roll in the Democratic Party. This leads me to discuss Margret Sanger. Whom I might add Hilary Clinton is in awe of. Um excuse me? What? In awe of what exactly? Hilary Clinton is Representative of the Democratic Party.

You can't really believe that Planned Parenthood does not stand for the same Principles as it did when it was started by Sanger. They have had years to smooth out their rough edges and pretend to be a woman's best friend. My experience with Planned Parenthood was this. I was pregnant with my oldest daughter and went to a Planned Parenthood to get a pregnancy test. I was 20 yrs old. When they came back into the room with my results.... The first thing out of the lady's mouth was... "Your test is positive". "Do you want to abort it?" I looked at her in dismay... "Do I want to what!?" "NO I dont want to Kill my baby!" I said... She said, "Are you sure?" "You are so young and it will ruin your life." I couldn't believe this woman was telling me I should kill my baby! They PUSH abortion on you! They take advantage of young women and push abortion on them telling them it is what is best for them! What about the baby???? I was so insulted I got up and walked out and never set foot in a planned parenthood again.
